Vacuum conveying systems are commonly used for solid material transportation in the food industry.

Hivacon solution helps with internal logistics problems, as it can move thousands of kilos of material, hundreds of meters per hour

In principle, everything that fits in the pipe can be transported with the help of Hivacon. If the particle size and shape cause a problem, the material can be run through a crusher unit.

One of the advantages of the vacuum transporting is that it does not need water to allow material to be conveyed through pipelines.

Main components of the solution are: suction points with stainless steel funnels, pipeline technology, a separation unit, a vacuum generation unit and an automation cabinet.

By-product materials are collected into the stainless steel funnels, directly from equipment like tables, crushers, cutters or conveyors on the customer’s production line.

When the funnel is full, Hivacon vacuum unit generates strong suction, and the material particles start to flow along pipelines with huge velocity. Piping technology is usually placed in the technical space (above the ceiling).

After the conveying stage, the material arrives in Hivacon separation unit, from where the material will be dropped either to further processing process or to a waste container.

The operations of Hivacon system is automated with PLC control. Parameters are adjusted according to the needs of the production line, to save as much energy as possible. The solution is easy to maintain, because it also washes itself automatically on a daily basis.

When the piping is washed with our CIP solution, the by-products can be used for human and animal consumption.

The washing program includes rinsing, detergent washing and disinfection. CIP solution automatically dispenses the washing chemicals and controls the heat, preparing the system for a cycle wash.

To maintain the cleanliness of the pipes, the washing program automatically uses also wash pellets in addition to the washing with liquids.

Hivacon vacuum system can be used for distribution and dosing of different materials. The system can quickly and accurately move the desired material fragments, also in difficult conditions and narrow spaces, where the traditional conveyor solutions are not at their strongest.

Hivacon is hygienic and easy to wash and keep clean with automated washing.
